We appreciate you stopping by today. Our site is filled with yesteryear Goodies: Preowned Vintage Horsey items. Because much of our website is VINTAGE (over 20 Years old & older) the pricing is only partially based on original cost. You are also paying for the RARITY & the UNIQUENESS of Vintage Items. They are priced higher because of their age, better quality, popularity, and in many cases, the items are no longer available anywhere else. Many items will be USA Made and One of a Kind. We do not have multiples because they are preowned, gently-used, Vintage 1 Offs! Used items will show different degrees of care & wear so be sure to read about an items “Condition” under the description. Look at all Photos carefully. Do not expect Vintage items to fit the same or be in the same condition as current preowned items. A majority of our auction items come from a smoke-free & interior pet-free environment.
If You are going to buy Vintage Items online, please realize there will be differences in SIZING! Manufacturers in the 1960’-1970s used much smaller patterns and still sizing differentiated from factory to factory. The 1980’-1990s saw sizing getting larger per size. Let’s face it: American sizing has gotten larger. An Average woman’s size today is 14-16. Under each listings “Description”, we provide measurements for most items for your convenience & information. So take advantage of it: READ the descriptions and compare measurements. Sales are final.
We try to describe color of each item, but vision of an items color(s) portrayal can differ from a computer to a phone to a tablet. And everyone has their own opinion/Debate about what color seafoam green or nutmeg is, etc. If exact color is a deal-breaker for you, we highly recommend that you buy items that you can visualize & handle in person. There are NO Returns for any variances in color.
We spend allot of time preparing Boots for sale. We appraise them, clean them, check them, polish them, measure them and take pics of them, etc. On occasion we’ve paid to put on new heel caps for a valuable pair of Vintage Packers or Exotics. We routinely replace old laces with new Kiwi Laces and replaced insoles in others. In the Descriptions, we include notes/info of anything that a Buyer would want to know. Waterproof? Insulated? Steel Toes? Padded tongues? Missing eyelet? There is not much we miss. In other words, you can buy Vintage Boots with confidence. The Boots we sell are sound. We have been selling online under different venues since 1996 so we are fairly experienced in online sales. We know the importance of pleasing our clients.
Your Email Questions & Communications are important to us: We try to answer our emails promptly 5 days a week: Monday-Friday. At the very least we will check them once a day and try to reply. We may also read/answer emails on weekends, but usually not. We are shopping for more Goodies for You, attending church or spending time with our horses. There is a delay in emails on Weekends/Holidays because we do take time to Help others & haul Hay.
We are American Sellers located in the NC, USA and the order package that you receive from us will have an American return address. The items that we list & sell are in our possession and the photos are REAL. You won’t wait for me to go find or buy it & then ship it. BUYING BOOTS : Before purchasing Boots, please read our Tutorial under Customer Service called “Measuring Your Feet”. Then Refer to the individual Boot/Shoe measurements, compare them with your feet and read descriptions. Failure to read the Boot measurements & descriptions may cause you to buy something that won’t fit or it won’t be what you wanted. Sales are final. NOTE: we are on the EAST Coast of NC USA so shipping to the West Coast of USA is costly. Heavy shoes, western boots & military boots can truly cost up to $26 to ship, because they are too large/long for a flat rate box. In this case, the shipping cost will be assessed by the per pound weight of Boots & packaging to that Zone/Zipcode.
